From medical services and addiction recovery to housing programs and mental health clinics, we provide comprehensive care that addresses the whole person.

Our sister network of community health centers provides personalized, affordable, and preventive care for every stage of life. As an FQHC supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), care is available to everyone — regardless of ability to pay. BHS offers a full continuum of care including medical detoxification, residential inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, mental health services, primary healthcare, alcohol & drug prevention, youth services, DUI programs, family preservation, and community engagement services.

BHS accepts Medi-Cal and offers services on a sliding fee scale based on ability to pay. No one is turned away due to inability to pay. Contact our office to discuss your specific situation and we'll help you find the right options.

The first step is to call us at (310) 679-9126 or visit any of our 25 locations. Our Community Engagement and Navigator Services (CENS) team will conduct an assessment and connect you with the right program based on your needs.

Yes. BHS provides integrated mental health treatment for conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and co-occurring disorders. Our mental health services are available alongside substance use disorder treatment for a comprehensive approach to recovery.

Absolutely. BHS offers family preservation programs designed to strengthen family bonds during recovery. We encourage family involvement and provide support, education, and counseling for loved ones throughout the treatment process.

Yes. BHS is accredited by CARF International, licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), and is a member of CAADPE and CBHDA. We maintain the highest standards of care across all our facilities.

Our withdrawal management program provides 24/7 supervised care in a safe, comfortable environment. Our medical team manages withdrawal symptoms with appropriate medications and monitoring, ensuring your safety and comfort throughout the process. Withdrawal management typically lasts 3–7 days depending on individual needs.
